Gate AI, the artificial intelligence arm of crypto exchange Gate, has joined forces with XYO to create a new head-to-head prediction game for crypto users. The new experience, called Crypto Cards, puts players against an AI model as well as other players. Gate AI supplies the artificial intelligence tools and real-time market data, while XYO Layer One records the activity from each game.

The idea brings three major parts of the digital asset sector into one product: artificial intelligence, crypto market data and blockchain technology. Instead of asking players to follow a general market prediction, Crypto Cards gives each player a direct challenge against Gate AI and other participants. The format creates a simple test of how well a player can predict short-term price moves across selected crypto assets.

Gate already has a growing role in the prediction market sector. The exchange became the first centralized exchange to integrate prediction markets through Polymarket in March 2026. In July, Gate also launched its own Event Contracts product. These moves show a wider push from the exchange into products that connect market data with prediction-based experiences.

Gate serves more than 30 million users across 150 countries and ranks second worldwide by spot trading volume. The new partnership with XYO adds another layer to that wider strategy by bringing AI and blockchain verification into a direct player-versus-AI format.

How Crypto Cards Works

Crypto Cards follows a simple daily structure. Each day, XYO selects three crypto assets at random from a defined pool of assets listed on Gate exchange. Gate AI then creates its own predictions for those three assets.

Players receive the same three assets and have 24 hours to make their own predictions. The results appear the next day after the prediction period ends. This structure gives each match a clear start and finish, with every participant facing the same set of market questions.

The game does not ask players to predict a general market consensus. Instead, the main focus stays on the direct contest between the player, the AI model and other participants. Each asset goes into a multiplier slot, and the player predicts whether the asset will move higher or lower during the defined period.

The final result comes from real-time market data supplied by Gate. That data gives the game a clear reference point for each prediction. Once the time window ends, the actual market movement determines whether the prediction succeeds.

This format makes Crypto Cards different from a simple price chart or a standard market forecast. Each daily match creates a fixed set of assets, a fixed prediction window and a clear result. The AI prediction also gives players a direct benchmark for comparison.

Gate AI Brings the Artificial Intelligence

Gate AI plays a central role in the new Crypto Cards system. The platform creates the daily AI predictions that players must try to beat. Those predictions rely on the same enterprise infrastructure that Gate AI offers to commercial customers.

Gate AI provides unified access to more than 200 large language models through a single API. The system supports both OpenAI and Anthropic protocols. It also uses intelligent routing, automatic fallback, cost management and organization-level governance.

For Crypto Cards, this infrastructure gives Gate AI the ability to create daily market predictions through its broader AI system. The partnership therefore connects a consumer-facing crypto game with an enterprise AI platform that already supports a large range of models.

Gate’s Model Context Protocol, or MCP, also supplies the real-time price data that helps settle each result. This link between the AI system and live market information gives the game a direct connection to actual crypto price activity.

The role of Gate AI goes beyond a simple chatbot that offers an opinion on a coin. The platform acts as the AI competitor within the game. Every day, its model creates predictions that players can challenge through their own selections.

XYO Adds Blockchain Verification

While Gate AI handles the artificial intelligence side, XYO Layer One handles the record of game activity. XYO designed XL1 as a blockchain focused on data rather than transactions, and the network went live in September 2025.

Within Crypto Cards, XL1 records each player’s selections and predictions before the prediction window opens. That creates a permanent record for every match. Players and other observers can then check the recorded choices against the final results.

This part of the system addresses an important issue for prediction games: trust in the record. A player needs confidence that a prediction existed before the result became known. The blockchain record provides a clear history of the selections made during each match.

The role of XL1 also fits the wider direction of XYO. The company has focused on decentralized physical infrastructure since 2018, before the term DePIN became common across the crypto sector. XYO now runs one of the world’s largest consumer DePIN networks, with more than 10 million nodes.

The network has processed more than 100 billion data queries. That background gives XYO a strong connection to large-scale data systems, while XL1 extends that focus into a dedicated blockchain environment.

A Direct Contest Against AI

The most notable part of Crypto Cards comes from its head-to-head format. Many prediction products focus on market odds or the combined view of many participants. Crypto Cards takes a different route.

A player does not simply compare a personal prediction with a market consensus number. The player competes against a defined AI prediction and other players. This creates a more direct test of prediction skill.

The multiplier slots add another layer to the game. Players must assign each selected asset to a multiplier position while also choosing whether its price will move higher or lower. The structure gives each choice a different level of importance within the match.

The result creates a game format that combines market knowledge with strategy. A player must assess the three selected assets, decide the likely direction of each price and then decide where each asset should sit within the multiplier structure.

Gate’s live market data determines the final outcome. The process gives every match a clear basis for comparison and keeps the focus on actual price movement rather than an abstract score.

XYO Sees Crypto Cards as a New Digital Asset Experience

Arie Trouw, Co-Founder and CEO of XYO, described Crypto Cards as a simple way for people to take part in market prediction. He also highlighted the combination of AI technology and XYO Layer One’s verification infrastructure.

The partnership gives XYO a chance to bring its data-focused blockchain into a consumer product with a direct connection to crypto markets. Rather than use XL1 only as a technical infrastructure layer, Crypto Cards gives the network a visible role in each prediction match.

The approach also reflects a broader change across the digital asset sector. Crypto products now connect more often with AI systems, real-time information and interactive experiences. Crypto Cards sits at that intersection without relying on a complicated user format.

The daily structure also gives the product a repeatable cycle. Three assets appear, Gate AI creates its predictions, players make their choices, the market window closes and the results become available the next day. Each new cycle creates another independent prediction challenge.

Gate US Sees a Larger Role for AI

Laura Liu, COO of Gate US, said that AI will play a larger role in the future of digital assets. Her comments point to a wider vision for AI across the crypto ecosystem rather than a focus on one isolated product.

The Gate AI and XYO partnership shows one example of that approach. AI can process market information and create predictions, while blockchain infrastructure can create a verifiable record of the decisions and results.

The combination can also create new ways for users to interact with digital assets. Instead of only buying, selling or watching prices, users can take part in structured prediction experiences that use live market information.

For Gate, this also adds another product category to an already broad crypto ecosystem. The company operates Gate Wallet and Gate Ventures alongside its main exchange platform. Gate also has global partnerships with major sports brands such as Oracle Red Bull Racing in Formula 1 and Inter.

Gate’s Wider Crypto Platform

Gate began its journey in 2013 under founder Dr. Han and ranks among the earliest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. The platform now supports more than 30 million users across 150 countries and offers more than 3,600 digital assets.

The exchange also pioneered the industry’s first 100% proof-of-reserves system. That history has helped Gate build a broad position across the digital asset market.

The move into prediction products adds another part to that ecosystem. The Polymarket integration in March 2026 marked a major step for Gate in the prediction market space. The launch of Event Contracts in July added a product of its own.

Crypto Cards takes a different path. Rather than act only as a prediction market, it creates a game around direct prediction contests. The AI model becomes one of the competitors, while XYO creates a permanent blockchain record of player choices.

What Comes Next for Gate AI and XYO

The first phase of the partnership centers on Crypto Cards, but the two companies are already exploring other uses for the same technology. Their future work could combine AI, market intelligence and blockchain infrastructure across more parts of the digital asset ecosystem.

That possibility gives the partnership a wider scope than one prediction game. Gate AI brings access to more than 200 large language models and real-time market information. XYO brings a large consumer DePIN network and a blockchain built around data.

The combination creates a foundation for other digital asset products that need both intelligent analysis and verifiable records. Future applications could build on the same basic idea: AI can produce analysis or predictions, market data can provide real-world reference points, and blockchain technology can preserve the history of important actions.

Crypto Cards therefore serves as the first visible step in a broader collaboration. Its daily three-asset format keeps the initial product easy to understand while giving both companies a practical setting to test the combination of their technologies.

A New Intersection of AI, Markets and Blockchain

Gate AI and XYO have brought together three areas that continue to shape the digital asset sector. Gate contributes its exchange infrastructure, real-time market data and AI platform. XYO adds blockchain verification through XL1 and its experience with large-scale data networks.

Crypto Cards turns those technologies into a direct prediction contest. Each day starts with three randomly selected crypto assets. Gate AI creates its predictions, players make their own choices within a 24-hour window, and the next day’s market results determine the outcome.

The system also creates a permanent record of every prediction through XYO Layer One. That feature gives each match a clear history from the moment a player makes a selection until the final result appears.

For Gate, the product extends an established push into prediction markets after its Polymarket integration and Event Contracts launch. For XYO, it creates a consumer use case for its data-focused blockchain. For Gate AI, it offers a direct public setting for its artificial intelligence platform.

The partnership shows how AI can move beyond simple market analysis and become part of an interactive digital asset experience. At the same time, blockchain can serve a purpose beyond asset transfers by preserving a clear record of decisions and results. Crypto Cards brings those ideas together in a format built around a simple question: can a player make a better short-term crypto prediction than an AI model?

The first stage of the collaboration focuses on that challenge. The larger goal could reach much further as Gate AI and XYO explore new ways to connect artificial intelligence, market intelligence and blockchain infrastructure across the digital asset world.
