The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) has once again taken the lead in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in India with its renowned Innovation Showcase (ISHOW). Scheduled to be held in Chennai on April 24, 2023, the ISHOW aims to recognize and support startups that are addressing critical challenges in sectors such as agriculture, energy, healthcare, and transportation. This year, seven regional finalists have been selected to compete for a chance to join the prestigious 2024 ISHOW cohort and receive vital funding and technical support.
Regional Finalists:
Among the seven startups selected as regional finalists, each brings forth innovative hardware technology solutions designed to tackle pressing issues in various industries. Adiabatic Technologies Pvt. Ltd. from Maharashtra has developed an ‘Intelligent Battery Tech for Electric Vehicles,’ offering a promising battery technology tailored for mass mobility applications. Joining them are other pioneering startups including BluPower from West Bengal, CarbonCraft from Karnataka, Jarsh from Telangana, Periwinkle Labs Pvt. Ltd. from Karnataka, Saptkrishi Scientific from Bihar, and Zodhya from Telangana.
Competition and Awards:
During the ISHOW India event, these finalists will compete for a share of $30,000 in grant awards and technical support aimed at assisting them with their go-to-market strategies. The competition promises to showcase the most innovative and impactful solutions that have the potential to revolutionize their respective industries. Additionally, three of the seven regional winners will be chosen to join the exclusive 2024 ASME ISHOW cohort, providing them with invaluable opportunities for mentorship and guidance.
