The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), a quality standards regulator under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), has bestowed recognition upon HireMee, an innovative talent assessment and technology platform. This recognition positions HireMee as an assessment agency for emerging technologies, allowing it to evaluate candidates on the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) aligned qualifications.

Headquartered in Bengaluru and boasting seven years of experience in the edtech sector, HireMee is set to play a pivotal role in assessing candidates completing programs offered by NCVET-recognized awarding bodies. Moreover, it will also assess individuals pursuing qualifications aligned with the NSQF under various government-funded schemes.

Venkatraman Umakanth, HireMee’s Senior Vice President and Head, highlighted the significance of this recognition in the context of India’s burgeoning IT-ITES industry, which engages around 5 million individuals and contributes significantly to the economy. He emphasized the critical need for continuous upskilling in emerging technologies to ensure the workforce remains relevant and competitive on a global scale. As a NCVET-accredited assessment agency, HireMee is poised to meet these evolving assessment needs effectively.

The recognition by NCVET follows a rigorous evaluation process of HireMee’s capabilities, particularly its proficiency in offering AI-driven assessments across a spectrum of IT and non-IT domains. HireMee’s assessment platform is renowned for its adoption by numerous corporates across India, the Middle East, and the United States for talent acquisition and management purposes. Additionally, academic institutions have leveraged its services extensively, with nearly 3 million assessments conducted to date.
