Panasonic Life Solutions India, in collaboration with Panasonic Corporation and seed-stage venture capital firm 100X.VC, has announced the selection of 12 startups for the ‘Panasonic Ignition’ Corporate Innovation accelerator program. The chosen startups were selected from over 140 entries and will participate in the three-month program. During this period, they will receive comprehensive support, including mentorship sessions, guidance, and financial resources to complete their projects.
Manish Misra, Chief Innovation Officer at Panasonic Life Solutions India, highlighted the initiative’s commitment to fostering groundbreaking technologies and solutions that address the evolving needs of commercial spaces while contributing to a sustainable future.
As part of the engagement, Panasonic will roll out challenges for the startups, and the winner will be announced in March 2024 based on regular reviews. The accelerator program, designed by Panasonic India Innovation Centre (IIC), aims to create a platform for selected startup founders to receive investment, access master classes, expert mentorship, and support around product strategy.
Yagnesh Sanghrajka, Founder and CFO at 100X.VC, expressed satisfaction with the joint efforts that attracted applications from high-quality startups in a short span of time. The collaboration aims to contribute to the startups’ journey over the next 12-14 weeks.
The selected startups will have the opportunity to work closely with Panasonic and 100X.VC teams to enhance their projects and address real-world challenges. The accelerator program underscores the commitment to fostering innovation and supporting startups in their growth and development.
