Mumbai-based fashion-tech startup ZILO has secured $4.5 million in a seed funding round led by Info Edge Ventures and Chiratae Ventures, the company announced today, June 27. This significant capital injection marks a major milestone for ZILO, which launched earlier this year with a bold mission to reinvent how Indian consumers shop for fashion.

Founded in 2025, ZILO bridges the gap between the fast convenience of online shopping and the tactile satisfaction of in-store experiences. The startup positions itself as a hybrid platform that transforms last-minute fashion needs into instant gratification—delivering curated outfits from top brands in under 60 minutes.

Fashion Retail, Reimagined

ZILO doesn’t follow the typical e-commerce script. Instead of focusing solely on warehouse-to-door logistics, the platform introduces a hybrid supply chain model. It works closely with existing brand stores and micro-fulfillment centers to ensure rapid delivery while maintaining a broad selection and personalized experience.

“Our goal isn’t just to deliver clothes quickly,” said a ZILO spokesperson. “We want to build a fashion discovery platform that feels as good as walking into your favorite store—but with the ease of tapping a few buttons from your couch.”

ZILO enables users to browse a hand-picked catalog of trending outfits across dozens of top brands, including Levi’s, Louis Philippe, United Colors of Benetton, Rare Rabbit, Jack & Jones, Puma, Reebok, Snitch, The Souled Store, Biba, Global Desi, Libas, Koskii, Damensch, Bliss Club, and even kids’ labels like Gini & Jony and Barbie.

When a customer selects items, ZILO ensures delivery within 60 minutes. Users can also opt for home trials, allowing them to try on multiple outfits before deciding what to keep. The company promises instant returns, further lowering the friction that often plagues traditional online apparel shopping.

This customer-centric experience solves key pain points for urban shoppers—ranging from poor fit and delayed deliveries to the lack of touch-and-feel engagement common in fast fashion e-commerce.

ZILO’s seed funding round attracted leading names in the Indian venture ecosystem.

“As early investors in the fashion space through Myntra and in omnichannel champions like Firstcry and Lenskart, we’ve seen the sector evolve. Online fashion lags behind other categories in penetration, largely because it fails to deliver on discovery, experience, and personalization. ZILO doesn’t try to fix fashion with discounts—it builds experience and trust.”

Kitty Agarwal, Partner at Info Edge Ventures, added her perspective:
“Our other quick-commerce investments have proven three constants: Speed drives adoption, personalization increases basket size, and trust in delivery builds long-term loyalty. The $4.5 million funding will fuel ZILO’s growth across several fronts. The company plans to:

  • Achieve product-market fit (PMF) by iterating based on customer feedback

Though ZILO launched in Mumbai, the company doesn’t plan to remain confined to the city for long.
